i’m making a family set of skullies for a college buddy of mine that i’ll see next month for the first time in a handfulla years.  the first one (the smallest one) is done…

ok, so it’s nothing big, but i did blog at least once for every day of november.    i really will try to keep it to three posts a week-ish, from here forward…

on a much lesser scale, i can’t believe the holiday weekend is already over and i’m back at work, tomorrow.  can you believe tuesday is DECEMBER 1ST?!?!

so the project i picked up yarn and needles for at loopy, friday night, was on and back off the needles in less than 24 hours.

i’m trying to get my list of WIPs (works in progress, for the non-knitter) in order so i can focus on the holiday spinning, knitting, gifting, etc.  so here’s two stragglers that i finished this weekend.

i finished my november/december yarn cravin’ sock club socks, today. 
mind you we don’t even meet for november until tomorrow.  and my september/october socks aren’t done, yet…  i’m over 75%, though, and those will be what i’ll likely work on the rest of the time i’m out here (though that’s only a couple more [...]

most recently (meaning this morning), i finalized this project by sewing on buttons and making loops for some closure:

i am not wallowing. this girl is not one who wallows. i have my moments, but for the most part i’m making serious effort to move forward; find peace and forgiveness; learn to let go…
in the mean time, i’m knitting, as you’d expect.
