starting the month out right…
…with a finished object (FO)!!
technically i started this in october (on the night of the 31st), but i finished it, last night:
eric and i were kind of in disagreement as to who might get a garment made out of this yarn (one of the ones i received last week from stash up yarns, this was the ‘cobalt sea’ colorway)…
eric said, “i know someone who likes a sports team that would go with that yarn really well!!” you think he might be picking up a yarn habit just by being near me?!? hee hee! so he won.
the hat is smariek’s utopia hat and it was quick and painless and looks cool!
on the plus side, there’s this much left:
so i might be able to make myself a hat, too!! 
 i’ll weigh it at yarn haven’s insanknitty next tuesday and we’ll see how much is there. 
what i can’t understand, though, is why that hat is sitting on the chair across the room from me, instead of on his head, this morning. it’s freeeeeeeeeeeezing.
oh! i also joined up for something that should make my november pretty productive… and it’s not nakniswemo (national knit a sweater month) and has nothing directly to do with yarn!! it’s the organizing junkie’s 30-day challenge. i read about it in jeanne’s post, yesterday. i’m hoping our ‘guest room’ will become our ‘master bedroom’ by november 30th. i’ll get some before and progress and after shots as things progress…Â
